This program is called “Classic” because it covers most of the cities that travellers usually visit, but our suggested itinerary is actually far from classic since it is designed focused on discovering much more than what regular tourists visit.

This itinerary suits OFAC regulations for US citizens traveling to Cuba. We would just need to make a few changes to make it perfectly suitable. Contact our team for further information.

On arrival at Havana International airport, you will be met and welcome by our representative for your guided transfer to the city center.

Havana is best visited by walking since most of its colonial streets are narrow and pedestrian; that is why, this morning you will be met at your lodging in the heart of the city by your local guide who will show part of our History and Heritage by taking you to Havana’s Historic Centre.

After a break for lunch, you will continue your discovering tour head to Modern Havana, where contrasting the 1900’s architectural style and tendencies to the traditional Spanish building style. Driving in a classic American car for this tour is a unique experience only possible in Cuba.

You may like to end the afternoon with a salsa dancing lesson with professional teachers.

The Vista Hermosa organic farm located in the Guanabacoa municipality, 25 minutes only from the center of Havana, is combined with the Mediterráneo Havana restaurant, located in Vedado, the chef is Italian and the owner is Cuban, offering a menu with 80 % of the products from this farm, providing a naturally different flavor. Once at the farm you will taste fresh fruits harvested in this crops, will enjoy an educational talk and exchange of information about the farm and the project in general as well as its link with the Mediterráneo Havana restaurant. You will walk through productive areas and some animal stables, including the processing center where cheeses (goat-cow) and sausages (pork) are manufactured, with brief explanation of the production and samples of these already prepared.

After that, there is a ride of only 25 min by horse or tractor cart through non-productive areas of the farm, through a path that leads to a beautiful valley and a view point from where you can see beautiful landscapes, vegetation, flora and fauna which characterize the area and the boundaries of the farm.

Lunch today is included at the rancho or the Mediterráneo restaurant. Because this tour covers most of your day time, part of the afternoon will be at leisure. Try to have some rest before being picked up tonight by your local guide who will show you the way to one of Havana’s most prestigious Cabarets “The Tropicana Cabaret”, a live music and 100 dancer spectacle representing the Cuban History and religious intertwine in a two hour show.

This morning you will be driven to the most Western province in Cuba for staying in unique Viñales town, characterized by its lime stone valleys and caves; as well as, by its tobacco growing fields. On the way to Viñales you will stop in ‘Vegas de Robaina’ tobacco plantation. You will explore their farm ‘El Pinar’ while your guide explains the details about the tobacco process including a cigar hand rolling demonstration. A typical farm lunch is included at ‘El Pinar’.

Day 5 - Explore Viñales

This morning your guide will take you to explore downtown, including visiting Cueva del Indio and having a cocktail in Los Jazmines terrace.

In the afternoon, go to a trekking trail Through the Valle del Silencio and match its end with the sunset.

Being enjoyed part of the well preserved Capital City and somehow the countryside; it’s time for you to keep your journey into the unique 1800’s French Colonial City of Cienfuegos where amazing Sea Wall and harbor encourages to try a drink in Palacio del Valle building or have a sea dinner at Cienfuegos Yatch Club.

Early this morning, be introduced to your local guide who will walk you around Cienfuegos Boulevard and José Martí Square.

Although lunch is not included in today’s activities, you will have time for a light lunch and refreshing before you pack and be ready for a South coast drive to Trinidad, a beautiful Museum City, where red tile houses and stone paved streets characterize this colonial town. If you are up to, try to go out and dance at the rhythm of traditional Cuban music in Casa de la Trova or enjoy a homemade dinner and drink while relaxing on a Cuban popular armless rocking chair named “comadritas”.

Day 8 - Trinidad City: sugar cane, rum, and slavery!

Ride horses with a professional guide to the “Sugar Mills Valley”, 15 km away from downtown, a top exhibition of the Pre- Republic slavery Cuba and Sugar Industry. Visit to a country side restaurant where you can drink a delicious and natural sugar cane juice. Visit to “Hoyo del Pilon” waterfall in the Escambray mountains, with time for swimming. Return across the mountains to “El Paraiso” restaurant, in which you can enjoy of a varied Cuban lunch.

Afterwards, enjoy the rest of the day at leisure as we urge you to buy some fine handicrafts made by Cuba’s best weavers, knitters, and artisans before returning to your accommodation downtown.

Cuba is not only popular because of its history and traditions, but also its weather, tropical raining forests, and beaches.

Today you will travel all the way North to the almost virgin beaches of Cayo Santa Maria biosphere reserve. En route, pass by Santa Clara City and stop at Ché Memorial and Mausoleum Building. After crossing the 48 km causeway that connects mainland to the islands, check-in your all-inclusive resort and spend the most relaxing final days of your trip in Cuba.
