The Tropicana is the most famous club in Cuba and is located about 30 minutes out of the city centre in the Marianao district of Havana. The various outside stages stand in the middle of tropical forest and are floodlit at night. You will be collected from your hotel and transferred to watch the flamboyant and extravagant cabaret where 50 or more talented dancers in lavish costumes perform in front of large crowds, loosely telling Cuba’s early history. Despite being quite touristy it is certainly a fabulous spectacle. This is a late night event often returning to your hotel after midnight.
