The Quinta de los Molinos is an interesting oasis in Havana’s well developed downtown. For many years the city’s botanical gardens’ area has also been an important scientific research center for Cuban horticulturists and later the residence of Major Maximo Gomez.
The tour typically lasts around two hours and will take you through the grounds to showcase the more modern projects taking place there, including an environmental education project aimed at Cuba’s youth.
