Overview

The route that you take in a classic American convertible car for a two and a half hour tour will vary depending on the weather and traffic. You will be picked up at a pre-arranged time from your hotel, typically you will travel out past the impressive Capitolio building and take a drive along the city’s famous Malecon seafront from Havana Vieja to the high rises and crumbling atmospheric streets of Vedado. You will also stop at the Plaza de la Revolucion, an imposing square dominated by a giant statue of Jose Marti, Cuba’s most famous independence hero. You will travel along 5ta Avenida (originally homage to New York’s 5th Avenue) and head out to Miramar (the mansions in this area are now often embassies or ambassador’s residences). You will visit the outside areas of the harbour fortress as a great way to end, with a panoramic view of the city. At the end of the tour you will be taken back to your hotel.
