The Museum of the Revolution is in the former Presidential Palace and includes displays from the pre-Columbian culture up until present day. Some of the notable exhibitions include the Granma Memorial, showcasing the yacht that the Castro brothers and Che Guevara sailed from Mexico to Cuba to begin the revolution, as well as an SA-2 surface-to-air missile which shot down a US spy plane during the Cuba Missile Crisis. Your guide will take you through the different pieces explaining their historical significance to Cuba.
