Overview

Havana cigars are considered the world’s finest ones and the processes involved in hand rolling them can be seen at a number of Havana’s famous factories such as Romeo y Julieta and Partagas. A tour of a factory takes one hour and you will see the entire highly skilled process of hand making a cigar.

Your guide will accompany you to the factory and once there you will have a specialized English speaking guide during the visit to the factory.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Visiting hours: 9.00am to 1.30pm
  • Visiting days: Monday to Friday
  • The areas open to visits are: stemming-leaves selection and hand-rolling.
  • The tour around the authorized areas will be led by a cigar factory official guide independently of the tour guide accompanying you.
  • Factories will close for visits every year from mid December to the end of January and from mid July to mid August and the Habana Cigar Festival, which is held every year during the last week in February. Factories will also close on national holidays.
  • Visitors under 18 years of age will not be allowed inside the factory.
  • The tour around the authorized areas will be led by a cigar factory official guide independently of the tour guide accompanying you.
