The adventure starts at Chicho´s house, a local fisherman at his house where we will see and learn about his passion, instruments and different ways of fishing in Havana, while enjoying a cup of Cuban coffee, which is a very important beverage for fisherman in order to stay awake all night.
Then you will take the fishing equipment and walk about 500 meters to Malecón. Before starting fishing you must learn how to get the rod ready and cast into the sea.
You can be lucky and catch your first fish at Malecon! We will be doing mostly catch-and-release, to preserve the environment.
Of course, you will enjoy the magic atmosphere of Malecón and listen to the stories of Chicho and the sea. At the end, the awesome view of sunset will make you a Cuban fisherman.
